- Inventory Reservation System
- To improve inventory management and fulfillment accuracy, we are introducing a SKU-level Inventory Reservation System. This enhancement ensures that stock is properly allocated at the time of order placement, reducing the risk of overselling and enabling more precise tracking of reserved items.

- Key Enhancements
- Shipper Configuration: Ability to auto-reserve inventory and trigger RTBS when orders enter the “Pending Fulfillment” state.
- Automatic Reservation: Inventory is automatically reserved for new orders at the SKU level.
- Enhanced Inventory Model: Reserved stock is tracked separately within each Inventory SKU record.
- New Order & Item Status: Introduces a new status — Pending Fulfillment (Reserved) — for improved clarity.
- Manual Reservation Support: Allows users to manually reserve or unreserve items when needed.
- Conflict Prevention: Built-in error handling and validation to prevent stock availability conflicts.
- Dynamic Reserve Management: Automatically adjusts reserved quantities based on changes to orders or items.
- Summary View Enhancements: Adds a “Reserved” column for better at-a-glance inventory insights.
- Reporting & Analytics: Enhances the Pick Report to highlight items in Pending Fulfillment (Reserved) status.
- Pick Flow Integration: Updates the Pick API and mobile UI to display and prioritize reserved items.
- Known Limitation
- Virtual carrier reservations are not supported in this release. Only local (on-hand) inventory reservations are included.
