Grasshopper 3.26.05.10 Release Notes

Features

Driver App Enhancement

Warehouse App Login Restricted to Licensed Warehouse Users

Overview

Access to the Warehouse App is now enforced at login, ensuring only users with an active warehouse-user seat can authenticate. This aligns the app with the platform’s licensing model and prevents unauthorized access by non-warehouse accounts.

Key Enhancements

  • Only users with a warehouse-user seat are permitted to authenticate.
  • Users without the warehouse scope see a clear, purpose-built rejection screen — visually distinct from the standard invalid-credentials error — with the message: “Warehouse access required. Your account doesn’t have access to the warehouse app. Contact your administrator to enable access.”
  • Rejection is enforced server-side from the auth scope claim, preventing client-side bypass.
  • Existing active sessions at release time are unaffected; enforcement applies to new login attempts only.

Web App — Order Management

Enhanced Bulk Add Charge with Shipper-Specific, Region-Specific & Percentage Rates

Overview

The Bulk Add Charge action on the Orders grid has been expanded to support the full range of accessorial types, including shipper-specific, region-specific, and percentage-based rates. The accessorial list is now dynamically scoped based on the selection, and users are informed when a default rate is applied in place of a regional rate.

Key Enhancements

  • Shipper-specific accessorials are now available in the bulk flow when all selected orders belong to the same shipper.
  • Region-specific rates are applied automatically when all selected orders share the same destination region; otherwise, the default rate is applied across all orders.
  • Percentage-based accessorials (“Rate by %”) are now available in both the bulk flow and the order-level Add Charge flow in order details.
  • An info box is displayed when shipper-specific accessorials are hidden (mixed-shipper selection) or when the default rate is substituted for a regional rate (mixed-region selection), so users always know which rate is being applied.
  • The “Add Charge” action is removed from the Orders grid menu for shipper accounts, where it is not applicable.

Web App — Manifest & Operations

Cube Values Rounded in Manifest View

Overview

Cube values in the Manifest View were previously displayed with excessive decimal places (e.g. 37.916666…), making the view cluttered and harder to read at a glance. Values are now rounded to 2 decimal places for a cleaner, more consistent display.

Key Enhancements

  • Cube values in the Manifest View are now displayed rounded to 2 decimal places.

Master Manifest Generation — Missing Manifests Resolved

Overview

An issue was identified where Master Manifests were not being generated for certain inbound manifests, preventing licensees from obtaining required copies to share with their shippers. The root cause has been resolved and the affected manifests have been regenerated.

Key Fixes

  • Resolved a failure in Master Manifest generation that caused certain inbound manifests to be skipped.
  • Affected manifests have been retroactively regenerated and are now available.
