Grasshopper 3.26.04.10 Release Notes

Warehouse & Inventory Enhancements

Lot, Batch, and Expiration Tracking

For licensees onboarding retailers in regulated or perishable categories (food, pharma, cosmetics), the platform now supports capturing lot number, batch ID, and expiration date on both inventory items and order line items, enabling compliance, traceability, and recall-readiness.

Key Enhancements

• Three new optional fields – Lot Number, Batch ID, and Expiration Date – on inventory items and order line items, exposed to shippers.

• Fields are included in the Create/Update Order and Create/Update Inventory Item APIs, with values preserved when switching an item between inventory and a line item. • New optional columns added to both the Order and Inventory Item CSV import templates, fully backward compatible with existing templates.

• The Unallocated Items view now supports filtering, display, sorting, and CSV export by Expiration Date.

Warehouse Utilization Report Enhancements

The Warehouse Utilization Report’s item-breakdown export now includes additional context the Operations team needs for tracking and reference, cross-referenced from the related order.

Key Enhancements

• Added PO#, Shipper, and Received Date columns directly after the existing Order column.

• Missing values render as blank cells, consistent with existing export behavior.

Enhanced Printed Labels

Overview

Shipping labels can now surface additional operational data – Stop Number and LM Truck Name – to help warehouse teams sort and route packages more efficiently, with each new field configurable per client.

Key Enhancements

• Two new optional label lines added in Advanced Settings: Stop Number and Truck Name, alongside the existing Scheduled Delivery Date option.

• Each new field can be enabled or disabled independently per client.

• New fields display only when the relevant data is available for the order.

• SKU font size increased across all label templates for improved readability.

Defect Fixes

Driver App

Driver Login Failure After SMS Password Reset

Overview

Drivers resetting their password via SMS were unable to log in afterward, receiving a “Password Expired” error immediately upon entering their new password – particularly impacting drivers without a usable email address for recovery.

Key Fixes

• Resolved an issue where temporary passwords issued through the “Text New Password” flow were immediately marked as expired.

• Restores Driver App access for accounts that rely on SMS-based password resets.

Web App & Platform

Storage Charges Applied Despite “Don’t Charge Storage” Selection

Overview

Selecting “Don’t Charge Storage” on an order was unexpectedly resulting in storage fees being applied instead of waived.

Key Fixes

• Fixed the “Don’t Charge Storage” action so it correctly prevents storage charges from being applied to the order.

Delivery Report Default Date Range

Overview

The Delivery Report opens to the current week by default, even though it’s most commonly used to review the previous week’s completed activity.

Key Fixes

• Updated the Delivery Report’s default date range to the previous week, reducing the need for manual date adjustments.
