Every term, abbreviation, and acronym used across the Grasshopper platform.

A

Acknowledgment. An EDI message confirming receipt and acceptance of a transaction.

Application Programming Interface. The set of HTTP endpoints integrators use to send and receive data programmatically.

Bill of Lading. A document listing the freight being shipped, the origin, the destination, and the carrier.

The recipient of a shipment, also called the delivery customer.

A logistics practice where inbound freight is sorted and loaded directly onto outbound trucks with minimal storage time.

Electronic Data Interchange. A standardized format for exchanging business documents between systems.

Estimated Time of Arrival.

Proof of Delivery. A signed or photographed document confirming that the delivery was completed.
